Blocking login by IP, email, device

1. Why do I need a login lock

Elimination of technical loopholes. Even by deleting applications and clearing the cache, the player can return through another profile or device.
Multilayer protection. Complements limits and reality check, creating "persistent" barriers that are more difficult to bypass in moments of weakness.
Psychological effect. Knowing that access is closed at the network and device level increases the determination to abandon the game.

2. Types of interlocks

Lock typeWhat limits
IP addressAny traffic from your internet connection
Email addressRegistration and login by specific e-mail
DeviceAccess through a specific computer, smartphone or tablet

3. How does it work

1. IP lock:
  • In a casino firewall or at the level of DNS filtering, the user's IP address is blacklisted.
  • Any request to the site or API from this address is denied.

2. Email blocking:
  • When registering or login, the system checks e-mail with the "excluded" database and does not allow creating a new account.
  • All notifications and passwords at this address are also blocked.

3. Device lock:
  • The server captures unique identifiers (device ID, MAC address, browser fingerprint) and prohibits login at the session level.
  • Even if you change your account on the same device, access is not given.

4. Setting locks

1. Through support:
  • Send a written request to block IP, e-mail and/or device ID.
  • In the application, specify the exact data (IP from "what is my IP," email address, device serial number or browser fingerprint).

2. Through your personal account (if available):
  • Go to Responsible Play → Block Access → select the options you want.
  • Confirm the change with the code from the SMS or e-mail.

3. At the router or DNS level:
  • For additional protection, set up a black list of casino domains in your home router.
  • Use DNS filters (AdGuard DNS) to block at the network level.

5. Recommendations for effective use

Combine all three types. IP blocking + email blocking + device ID has the maximum effect.
Change the IP address rarely. When changing networks (VPN), the system may work differently - keep a stable address.
Transfer the device "under supervision." Store your phone or key computer with a trusted person so that you do not reconfigure filters under pressure from emotions.
Check work. Try to log in after setting - if the lock is triggered, you will see the corresponding message ("Access Denied").

6. Limitations and Methods of Amplification

VPN and proxy. The user can change the IP; combine with device block and email block.
New mailing addresses. Disable registration of all domains of popular mailers or use keyword filtering (casino, bet).
Technical audit. Ask loved ones to periodically check if you have been able to get around the barriers and make adjustments.

Blocking by IP, email and device is a serious barrier against re-accessing gambling. Competent customization and a combination of these methods with limits, reality check and self-exclusion create reliable protection and help to prevent breakdowns.
